Todays child care CO

We believe that caring for and educating children is a noble and enriching task and we take pride in our responsibility to educate young minds and prepare children for the future. We understand how important it is to trust the people who are responsible for the care and education of your child. With over 30 years of experience in the early childhood education industry, we are dedicated to providing children with the tools to succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.

We provide educational daycare in the greater Parker, CO area that focuses on days filled with learning and fun, the key ingredients of our Life Essentials® educational philosophy. The smiles you’ll see on our children’s faces as they learn, share family style meals with other children, and grow socially will delight you. The words from our children’s parents about our program, safety and facility will impress you.
My whole life has been dedicated to the care of little ones. From helping my mother when I was young with her own in home daycare, to my first babysitting jobs. I then had the opportunity to be nanny to two wonderful girls ages 3 yrs. and 4 months for about 3 years. Then, I had them pleasure of spending 3 months in Romania working with an organization called Caminul Felix. They are essentially an orphanage but rather than caring for the children until they come of age, they give them homes and families for life. There I worked with many children befriending them, teaching crafts and helping with their English. Now I have started a family of my own and desire to have my own in home daycare. Doing as my mother did before me, caring for little ones and helping fellow mothers with trustworthy and affordable childcare. P. S. I am also more than happy to take care of any four-legged, furry family members.
Shawna Kay – Mom of two children in care. My youngest isn’t quite 1 yr old yet. How much more difficult do you need to make it for us? I barely make enough to cover daycare as it is, and that’s WITH subsidy! The ripple effect here is going to negatively impact so many. Please think of how much these changes are HURTING people who are just scraping by as it is!!!!
There are myriad sections without references. At other times the authors reference secondary sources (in discussing toilet training they note that "Pediatrician Lindy Woodard believes that a child can and should be trained by thirty months; in her professional experience, children who are trained at an older age have more problems learning to use the toilet." p. 168). Often the subject of a section would lack focus and context, such as p. 209 where the authors talk about "soul disorders" in reference to mental health. One assumes they are referencing the work of someone else, but it isn't cited or put into context. This leaves the reader to wonder why the authors would consider if "wisdom teeth extraction impacts our souls."
I am a caregiver and excited to open my home for your child. I have three children of my own, one in college, one in elementary school and a toddler, so I am very experienced with all age groups. We follow a routine that includes preschool age appropriate activities in the morning. I enjoy reading time at the library and highly encourage supervised outdoor play in my fenced backyard. I lead an active healthy lifestyle. That includes a balanced diet for the children I care for. I am a mature, patient caregiver.
I am a stay-at-home mom and have a 7-year-old son. I have been caring for other children for 9 years now. I am very flexible with scheduling, I enjoy watching other children, along with my son, so he can have some interaction with others, which is very important to me. I can come to your home, or your child(ren) could come to mine, whichever you're more comfortable with. I do not smoke and I have my own transportation, also am just fine with pets! I have no specific rate, it just depends on what works for the parents of the child(ren), I am caring for. It's usually between $9 to $12/hour.
All personal items must be labeled. All staff are CPR/AED/1st Aid certified and have childcare experience. Children will be released only to those individuals who initially dropped them off. Individuals must be 18 years old to pick up a child from the nursery. You are welcome to bring a small snack, however we do not allow any peanut products of any kind. No snacks are provided by staff. Please no sick children
Your government contends that these changes are necessary because they will “increase access”. To the contrary, analyses by public entities and community service providers show that “new” infant rooms with a younger, narrower age range at a very high fee will close and that there will be severe financial and practical effects that affect service viability across age groups.
It is hard to argue that a two year old with the proposed 1:8 adult: child ratio in a group of 24 is in a “quality” or even a safe environment.  While we are pleased with the proposal to increase the number of Registered Early Childhood Educators, research suggests that an increase in trained staff is not a trade-off for decent ratios and group sizes.  Additionally, the already-stretched, underpaid, 97% female child care workforce cannot continue to pick up the slack for massive gaps in public financing.
When I graduate in June 2016, I will officially be an ECE. Throughout my studies, discussions of low recognition of ECEs, no National Framework, low wages for ECEs, etc have been hot topics. Learning that there is such a lack of help for ECEs is alarming, especially for someone fresh out of school in hopes of having this as a career, a way to provide for a family. Looking into a National Framework in the 2017-2018 budget is not helping families, ECEs, etc who need help NOW. Now is the time to make a difference for the future. Doing something in the future doesn’t help with the problems we face now.

Currently 1 OPENING - ages 16 months through school aged! A native of Denver, I have provided licensed child care in my home since 1980. I have excellent references. I serve nutritious, high quality, home cooked meals. I offer an atmosphere where learning can take place in an easy, fun environment. There are plenty of outdoor experiences. Activities include daily story time and a Christian based preschool program. In the summer, children ages 3 and up may take daily swimming lessons offered through Parks and Recreation, usually for a period of 9 weeks, Monday - Thursday. Lessons are parent paid. Thank you.
